Frequently Asked Questions
See frequently asked questions below.
What anchor bolt sizes do you recommend for Africa construction?
For most Africa construction projects, we recommend M16-M20 hot-dip galvanized anchor bolts for standard applications. For heavy structural work, use M24-M30 Grade 8.8 anchor bolts. All anchor bolts for coastal areas should be hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel A4 (316) to resist corrosion.
Standard lead time is 15-25 days for production plus 30-45 days sea freight to major African ports (Durban, Dar es Salaam, Mombasa). Total 6-10 weeks from order confirmation. Express production (7 days) and air freight available for urgent orders. Do you provide anchor bolt testing certificates?
Yes. All shipments include material test certificates (MTC/Mill Test Report), dimensional inspection reports, and coating thickness certificates per ISO 1461. Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas) available upon request.
For tropical/coastal Africa: Hot-dip galvanized (80-100μm) or Thermally Diffused Zinc (TDZ) coating. For desert/arid regions: Plain steel with rust inhibitor packaging. For industrial areas: Epoxy coating or stainless steel A2/A4. Can you produce custom anchor bolt designs?
Yes. We have in-house tooling for custom anchor bolt designs including J-bolts, L-bolts, swedge bolts, and headed anchor bolts. Custom designs require 20-30 days tooling lead time plus production time.
